Dr. Lawrence Wood, Director of the Communication and Development Studies program and Associate Professor in the School of Media Arts & Studies, was recently interviewed for and quoted in an article in High Country News.
The article, titled Rural Americans Have Inferior Internet Access, focuses on issues such as the negative economic and quality of life implications associated with the limited broadband access that typifies much of rural America.
