This past week, the certificate reached a milestone that I am insanely proud of. We would like to officially announce that we have hit 200 enrolled students! As the student coordinator and an enrolled student myself, it has been rewarding to see how the certificate has grown and matured over the past few years.
In my experience, I’ve learned that the certificate is such a rare and special program. There are very minimal schools that have implemented something like this, and many don’t even offer classes on the topic of social media. These topics we are gaining knowledge on and the skills we are learning are becoming more relevant as the digital realm continues to evolve. Digital and social media are basically a necessity in this day and age. Every company needs it, and everyone needs someone to do it for them.
I know that when I have done interviews for internships, I always get asked about my experience in the certificate. Just having it on my resume has actually landed me positions because it shows employers I have been properly trained and exposed to the things that I’ll be doing on an every day basis.
