PD Narrative Project Attends ICNAP Conference In St. Louis

Dr. Jenny Nelson and The PD Narrative Project recently returned from the 6th annual ICNAP conference (Interdisciplinary Coalition of North American Phenomenologists) at St. Louis University, May 23-25, where they engaged in extensive discussion about their videos showcasing individuals living with Parkinson's disease.
ICNAP welcomes work that features phenomenology in all scholarly disciplines. In addition to presentations employing phenomenology in single fields, they are interested in works highlighting phenomenological interdisciplinarity. The 2014 conference theme, “Phenomenology and the Social World,” included theoretical and applied expositions of the social world understood phenomenologically.
Conference organizers were pleased to have the PD Narrative Project in attendance; and as a token of appreciation for waiving the conference fees for the graduate students, they will be producing a promotional video shot during the conference.
