  • A Conversation With Larry Groce & Friends

    An event recorded live on Thursday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Athena Cinema, this exciting event saw stories from the creators, tales about the process and challenges of producing a music show with multiple acts in front of a live audience, and fascinating reasons why, after 30 years, Mountain Stage is still the place "where musicians come to play."

    Created in 1983 by Andy Ridenour, Larry Groce and Francis Fisher, Mountain Stage is a two-hour, weekly radio show that features performances from a wide range of artists from all musical genres recorded before a live audience, usually at the Culture Center Theater in Charleston, WV.

  • Zoom In! The Lotus

    Gwen Pym, a young girl with a passion for nanoscience shrinks down to a microscopic size to learn about the natural water-repelling properties of the lotus leaf. Zoom In! 

    The Lotus is a stop-motion animation designed to introduce K-3 grade students to the fundamental concepts of nanoscience. Funding provided by the American Physical Society. Made by students from the School of Media Arts and Studies at Ohio University with support from Department of Physics and Astronomy. For educational materials please go to http://ow.ly/uz238.
