PILOT, a coalition in association with the National Association of Broadcasters, is calling on all entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and creative thinkers to submit their ideas for accelerating broadcast innovation in the first annual PILOT Innovation Challenge.
To enter, students must submit their answer to the Challenge Question: How might local television and radio broadcasters engage their communities with next generation content on any device, whether big, small or moving?
Once ideas are submitted, a panel of expert judges from the broadcast, venture capital, academic, and tech industries will select ten semifinalists. A similar, smaller panel will then select the top three finalists. All three finalists will have their ideas presented at NAB Futures and featured at NAB Show NY, as well as at the Futures Park booth at 2017 NAB Show. In addition, the top three finalists will receive cash prizes of $20,000 for first place, $15,000 for second place, and $10,000 for third place.
