The School of Media Arts & Studies is very pleased that senior James Clark was recently named a top pick in Game Career Guide's Game Design Challenge.
The Game Career Guide organizes a game design challenge for students every two weeks which includes a central element that must be featured in the game. For this challenge the theme was "Interactive TV."
James' entry, "Dragon Ball U" is based on the popular Japanese Anime series Dragon Ball. Following the theme, the game is played using with special episodes of Dragon Ball that feature the player as a character in the show. The player interacts with the show using motion-capture based game consoles and is rewarded points based on how well they execute each move.
