The School of Media Arts & Studies is tremendously pleased with the recent collaboration between The GRID Lab and Associate Professor of Bioorganic and Supramolecular Chemistry, Eric Masson.
Prof. Masson created the computer game he's calling Orgomino which he plans to use in the classroom in coming semesters to help students study.
According to GRID Lab Director John Bowditch, "The most challenging part of the project was developing a game for a subject we know little to nothing about," said Bowditch. "Game development comes naturally to us, but organic chemistry not so much. So, developing a game with a limited understanding of organic chemistry has been an interesting challenge for us to overcome."
