Ghanem Elhersh
Bio
Research: Television’s content, media in the Arab world. Elhersh is particularly interested in the animation film industry in the Arab world. His master’s thesis centered on the Arabic animator's perceptions of Arabic animation film industry, and he got the Outstanding Graduate Thesis Award, as the best thesis in the College of Liberal Arts and Communication 2018 at Arkansas State University (ASU). In 2018, Elhersh was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award in ASU. Also, in Spring 2018, he became a member of Arkansas State University's chapter of Kappa Tau Alpha, the National Journalism and Mass Communication Honorary. Additionally, Elhersh recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society.
Teaching and work experience: Elhersh has worked as a GA as the Middle Eastern Student's Advisor at Arkansas State University. Also, he was a research assistant at the College of Liberal Arts and Communication at ASU. Ghanem has also worked as a teaching assistant for the Relational Communication, Conflict Resolution, and Health Narratives at Arkansas State University. Recently, he worked as a teaching assistant for the Introduction to Social Media, and the Business of Media at Ohio University.
Professional experience: Ghanem has worked as a free of charge reporter for one of the best-known Sports channels in the world (beIN sports). He also has worked as a TV presenter, cameraman, editor, and reporter in several channels in Jordan.
