Anima Donkor is a second year Ph.D. student in Media Arts. Her research interests include cyberfeminisms, Intersectionality, African feminisms with particular emphasis on online activisms by feminist movements in Africa. She is also interested in female-authored African movies and their role in gender discourse and gender relations on the continent. She has also done some research on microaggression with particular emphasis on intra-microaggressions among international students in the United States. She holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from Ohio University and a Master of Philosophy degree in communication and media studies at the University of Education, Winneba.
