Buzz teaches on the Athens campus fall quarter each year, but directs the Public Broadcasting MA Program throughout the year. His teaching focuses on public broadcasting and media reform; however, he considers himself a generalist with expertise in management, law and policy, and programming.
Buzz public broadcasting scholarship is strengthened by working with public broadcasting systems in Malaysia and the Baltic Republics of Estonia and Latvia. He continues to be active with the Broadcast Education Association (BEA), the Ohio Association of Broadcasters (OAB), and the National Conference on Media Reform (NCMR).
Buzz serves on the Executive Council for Ohio AARP and provides communications expertise to AARP offices in Ohio and North Carolina.
