The School of Media Arts & Studies’ 12th annual 48 Hour Shootout competition is slated for February 21-23rd. Teams of two or more from within the Media School will be given a genre, a prop and a line of dialogue, all of which must figure prominently in their 3-5 minute movie. All work, with the exception of organizing cast and crew and securing equipment and locations, must be done within the 48 hour time period. The event, which attracts 25-30 teams and about 300 participants from the Media School, culminates with the screening and judging of the finished movies on February 23rd, at 6:30 pm in Memorial Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
