    Alumnae Sarah Schaaf, a 2008 graduate from the Media Arts & Studies audio program, was recently the feature of a ZDNet article on her role as Community Director for the photo sharing site Imgur (pronounced "imager").

    At the time of publication according to alexa.com, Imgur is currently the 14th most-visited site in the United States.

  • MDIA's Paula Carpenter Named Classified Employee of the Month

    The School of Media Arts & Studies is pleased to announce that Paula Carpenter, Administrative Coordinator for the School, has been named the June 2015 Classified Employee of the Month.

    The purpose of the Non-bargaining Classified Employee of the Month award is to acknowledge and recognize those who are setting the standards for excellence and innovation which has the greatest impact on the University by promoting unity, community, continuity, and visibility.

  • Ashworth To Participate In FestivALL 2015 Panel On West Virginia's Music Scene

    Eddie Ashworth, an associate professor in the School of Media Arts & Studies at Ohio University, will join West Virginia Public Broadcasting and Charleston Daily Mail columnist Dave Mistich with musician/producer Bud Carroll, musician Todd Burge, and radio host Joni Deutsch for a panel discussion at this year's FestivALL in Charleston, WV.
